Message from the National Secretary

Welcome to the union's national website.

It is an exciting time for our union which is undergoing incredible growth in our membership reflecting itself in great victories for our members in all areas of the health industry.

The HSU is the health union for all health workers around Australia, and if you are not a member yet I would urge you to join with your colleagues and become part of one of Australia's most powerful and progressive organisations.

Through our growth, we have achieved more power at the workplace and so together we are in a position to achieve better outcomes for all health workers.

This website reflects our campaign orientated stance and allows any member easily to come on line and become involved in the union's latest struggle.

The website is designed to encourage members to find out more about what the union is doing as well as providing an electronic forum for your suggestions and views. I would suggest that all members should take the time to examine the site thoroughly, checking out member benefits, searching for new health jobs as well as linking through to their own Branch.

Working together, we can continue to improve outcomes for all health workers across Australia.
