This is a really important event organised by the Victorian Council of Churches in conjunction with the ACTU. Minimum wage workers from the US will be in Mitcham to speak about their experiences and to speak about what life is like trying to live on the minimum wage.
One of our major concerns with the IR laws is that it will drive down the minimum wage in Australia. Don't miss this opportunity to hear the stories of these workers first hand!
