Medicare Day of Action promotional material

Members who want to participate in the Medicare Day of Action on October 22 can download a poster to put up in their workplace.
The poster has space at the bottom for recording the details of any local activity that is going on during the day whether it be a morning tea, workplace meeting or a rally involving staff from a number of hospitals.
Branches will also have available posters, stickers and postcards for handing out to promote the day.
HSU national secretary Craig Thomson today encouraged all members to get involved in some way on October 22 to show they supported Medicare and better funding for public health.
"This is our chance to show the politicians we want a properly funded public health system and to maintain Medicare as a health system for all Australians," he said.
