17 October 2012

The National Boards for the first ten professions to enter the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme are currently reviewing their accreditation arrangements.

The Chiropractic, Medical, Optometry, Osteopathy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Psychology Boards of Australia are now commencing public consultation on the accreditation review.

Each of the first 10 professional Boards have published a consultation paper and a report from the accreditation authority.

You are invited to provide feedback in the public consultation process by email to accreditationreview@ahpra.gov.au by close of business, Friday 2 November 2012.

The consultation document is provided in writable PDF.

The Boards generally publish submissions on their websites to encourage discussion and inform the community and stakeholders but reserves its right not to publish submissions.

If you take part in the consultation and want your submission to remain confidential , in part or in full, you will need to let the Board know that is your intention.

The Chiropractic, Medical, Optometry, Osteopathy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Psychology Boards of Australia have a link to the consultations process and forms on their individual Board websites in the "Current Consultations" in the "News" section.
