Fix Dental Care
The Federal Government has failed to deal with the access and affordability crisis in dental care for too long. It is reported that there are 650,000 people on waiting lists for public dental care around the country. The increasing cost of dental care is putting financial pressure on many, especially families, older people and those on low incomes. To fix the crisis in dental care Medicare should be expanded to dental services for those under 18 and over 65 years old and people of all ages receiving any type of pension or with a health care card. You can help in the campaign to fix dental care by contacting your local federal Member of Parliament or sending a letter to the Minister or Shadow Minister for Health.
