Assistance for the people of Samoa and the Philippines - 01 October 2009

Public comment sought on the Model OHS Laws - 30 September 2009
On Friday, 25 September 2009 the Workplace Relations Ministers Council (WRMC) agreed to release for public comment an exposure draft of the Model OHS Laws. The WRMC also agreed to release a number of supporting documents to go with the exposure draft:

Administrator appointed to the HSU Victoria Branch - 03 September 2009
On the 4th August 2009, the Federal Court issued a declaration that the Victorian No. 1 Branch of the Health Services Union had ceased to function effectively and in response appointed Mr. John Vines OAM as the Administrator of the HSU Victoria (Vic Number 1) Branch effective from Monday 17 August 2009.
